The March 19 meeting of the Greater Terre Haute NAACP will be on the topic of Food Justice. Food Justice is the right of communities everywhere to grow, sell, access, and eat healthy food. Attend this meeting, 6:30-8:00pm at the Vigo County Public Library, to hear from a range of local projects that support Food Justice in the Wabash Valley including community gardening projects like HOPE Garden and others, local growers, the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice of St. Mary of the Woods, the United Way Mobile Market, Terre Foods Co-op, Bread for the World, the Institute for Community Sustainability at ISU, and the Farmers Market.
