The Greater Terre Haute NAACP Branch stands firm with Indiana State University’s students, staff and faculty to maintain a permanent Voting Center at ISU with an adequate number of voting machines.

The NAACP is non-partisan and does not support or endorse any particular political party.

“We are advocates for voting rights and election reform,” said Sylvester Edwards, Branch President. “Providing a permanent Voting Center at ISU for the citizens located in that area would go a long way in supporting increased voter turnout. We call on the Election Board to work with the community to establish the best opportunities for voting experiences in Vigo County,” Edwards concluded
