The Greater Terre Haute NAACP Branch is proud to let our members and friends know about this recognition and accomplishment of our Executive Committee member and chair of the Criminal Justice Committee. People who perform the work of the NAACP often do so by networking or partnering with other organizations.
Sandy’s work in the area of criminal justice takes her into hands-on situations with children, women, and parents, in an attempt to overcome some of the problems that lead to disproportionate incarceration and recidivism. She is both a CASA and KAIROS volunteer.
Reaching out to youngsters through the Foster Grandparents program at Ryves Community Center and Davis Park School is another favorite volunteer activity for Sandy.
Kindly join us in expressing appreciation to Sandy for all that she does for others.
