Please note the following General Membership meetings of the NAACP 3068 GREATER TERRE HAUTE BRANCH, for the purpose of election of Officers and At-Large Members of the Executive Committee.
- On 21 September 2026 at the Vigo County Public Library, Conference Room A on the lower level, at 6:00 PM, there will be an election of the Nominating Committee (between 5 – 15 members). All members whose memberships are current as of 30 days prior to the meeting may be elected to the Nominating Committee (not more than 2 being officers of the Branch).
- On 19 October, 2026 at the Vigo County Public Library, Conference Room A on the lower level, at 6:00 PM, there will be a report of the Nominating Committee, receipt of Nominations by Partition, and election of the Election Supervisory Committee. All members whose membership are current as of 1 April 2026, who’s memberships have remained continuous throughout the election process, and who live and/or work within the Branch’s jurisdiction (Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo Counties), may be nominated for Office or as an At-Large Member of the Executive Committee. In order to sign a nominating petition, or be elected to the Election Supervisory Committee, a member must be current as of 30 days prior to the October meeting.
- On 19 November 2026, the election of the Officers and At-Large Members of the Executive Committee will be administered using the NAACP electronic voting platform. Voting will be open from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. In order to vote in the Branch election, one must be a member in good standing of the Branch 30 days prior to the election.
Should a run-off election be necessary that election shall occur within ten (10) days of the original election, via the electronic voting platform for two (2) hours.
